Emagine IT Acquires CMMI Maturity Level 3 Rating For Development
On June 24, 2015 Emagine IT (EIT) received the Maturity Level 3 rating for fully implementing the Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration for Development (CMMI-DEV).
The CMMI DEV Level 3 rating shows maturity to fellow peers, clients and competitors of the quality-focused development work products and processes. This enables EIT to bid competitively on future work and also provides a repeatable framework for other development projects to implement to ensure consistency.
CMMI DEV implements over 100 various best practices ranging from various categories including: Project and Work Management, Engineering, Process Management, and Support.
The EIT development team within scope for this appraisal worked diligently to apply EIT processes and CMMI best practices to their project, while receiving support from the organization, ensuring a successful appraisal. With this rating, EIT has established itself as an effective organization for providing process integration and product improvement for clients.
