Emagine IT (EIT) is a FedRAMP Recognized Independent Assessment Service (IAS), accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) as a Type C Cybersecurity Inspection Body (A2LA Certificate 3706.01), with a scope covering the FedRAMP Security Assessment Framework and its accompanying NIST 800-series test cases for Cloud Products and Services.
With a track record spanning over 1,000 federal assessments based on NIST controls, and separately authorized by the CMMC Accreditation Body as a Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO) for independent CMMC Level 2 certification assessments, EIT supports providers pursuing FedRAMP Certification up to and including Certification Class D, across both the FedRAMP Rev5 and FedRAMP 20x paths.
Some organizations pursue an entry-level FedRAMP 20x Class A Certification to help market their platform and attract an agency sponsor before scaling toward higher assurance classes. EIT supports providers through this optional process as an IAS as well.
Through the FedRAMP independent assessment process, EIT verifies and validates a provider's Security Decision Record and Certification Package, producing the assessment findings that support Initial and Ongoing FedRAMP Certification.
Because EIT's assessors also work across FedRAMP advisory engagements, we believe advisors make the best assessors. This isn't self-taught expertise, it's what EIT does every day. To preserve independence, EIT does not serve as the assessor for any cloud service offering it has advised within the prior two (2) years.
